Ocean City Maryland
Ocean City, Maryland is a barrier island and home to the state's only coastal community. Before the eighteenth century, the island was a barren place, visited occasionally by only a few anglers. In 1869, a small inn was built to provide accommodation to visiting anglers and other travelers. The city has witnessed continuous growth ever since and is now a popular holiday destination.
