It is located on the second largest barrier reef system in the world. The Mayan Barrier Reef extends from the northern Yucatan to Honduras. Discovered by Jacques Cousteau in 1961, he declared it one of the greatest dive areas in the world.

One does not have to be a diver to enjoy all that Cozumel, Mexico has to offer. You can be a "landlubber" and appreciate the warmth and hospitality of the locals.
