The Great Market Hall is great place to buy special Hungarian food stuff and souvenirs. A vivid interior awaits you inside with the lines of stalls dressed up by the colourful cavalcade of seasonal produce: red paprika, bunch of grapes, apples, plums, tomatoes, pickels, mushroom, garlic and onion strings. Get some traditional Hungarian salami, sweet paprika powder and fine wine or p?linka, the authentic Hungarian fruit brandy.
Upstairs you can have hearty Hungarian dishes or nibble some l?ngos (deep fried dough), fried sausage with a mug of draught beer. Budapest has several modern shopping malls as well if you want to buy fashionable clothes, jewelry, books or high-tech gadgets.

Budapest shows its most photogenic face in autumn. This time the sunlight creates spectacular colours. Sometimes you can experience a certain hazy atmosphere that creates a certain mysterious, but at the same time breath-taking aura in the streets of the city.
