Do you know that as a single you have many single vacation choices and opportunities? Although it is a fact that many tours and cruises cater to couples and families and pricing reflects that, there are tours and cruises which cater to single vacation travelers as well. If you are tired of taking tours and cruises and being surrounded by couples and noisy children you owe it to yourself to look into single vacation travel agencies and packages. You may be surprised about the variety that is available as well as the money-saving choices to help you as well.
When you travel as a single vacation participant on a regular tour you will most likely be charged with a ?supplement? charge-meaning that you pay an extra charge to cover the cost of the bed or space that you are not using. The tour and cruise companies must do this to cover their cost. But, if you go through a single vacation agency or tour company, you can get around the supplement charge in a couple of ways. You can let the agency pick a same gender roommate for you based on some basic criteria such as age and interests, or you can check to see if the agency has a message board for future travelers to pick roommates from the people they meet online.
If you book your single vacation through a club, agency or other tour group there are other advantages as well. You will be able to participate in any ?extracurricular activities? that the group organizes. Sometimes they will have parties, dances, shows and other things that will be exclusively ?members only.? If you don?t sign up through them you will not be allowed to participate. It also ensures that the cruise or tour you are taking will have a larger percentage of singles. You can even find tours and cruises that are age specific, religious based, sexual preference based, and many other criteria.
You can find trips and tours that last only a day in your local area. Or you can find trips for singles that last several days or even weeks. The choice is yours.
